Birthdays used to be so special in school days no. You would be in the limelight the whole day with everyone around you knowing that it is your birthday and wishing you.
I used to feel so bad on my birthday evenings thinking that i need to wait for one more year to have this great day.
Paavam nee, innum oru varusham kazhichu than unnoda birthday varum! I feel sad for you :)

Btw, did you thank your mom on your birthday??

Nope. Was so tired. Just gave her an update of what happened during the day.

The limelight thing is very true. You are made to feel very very special the whole day.
